Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all use of the Roomloops service.

1. You must have the right to use every image and listing you submit

You may only upload photos, or submit URLs referencing photos, that you own or have explicit permission to use. This includes:

  • Photos you personally shot.
  • Photos your business commissioned, with a work-for-hire agreement or license.
  • Photos supplied by a photographer under a license that permits derivative video use.
  • Listing URLs for properties you own, manage, represent as an agent, or are otherwise authorized to market.

You may not use Roomloops to create videos from photos or listings belonging to third parties without their permission. This includes scraping a competitor's listing you do not represent, or using photos belonging to another real-estate agent, host, brokerage, or professional photographer without a license from the rights-holder.

If a rights-holder notifies us of a valid infringement claim under the DMCA or equivalent law, we will remove the affected content and may terminate the responsible account.

2. Prohibited content

You may not upload, submit, or generate content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or invades another person's privacy.
  • Contains nudity, sexual content, or content that sexualizes minors.
  • Depicts, promotes, or incites violence, self-harm, hate, or illegal activity.
  • Promotes or facilitates deceptive real-estate practices, fraud, discrimination, or violations of fair-housing laws.
  • Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code.
  • Impersonates a real person, business, or property without authorization.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, server, or system.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to abuse the Service beyond your normal quota.
  • Resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties except as expressly permitted.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product.
  • Circumvent any rate limits, credit limits, or access controls.
  • Submit false information about your identity, business, or ownership of a property.

4. Third-party platforms

When you submit a URL from a third-party platform (such as Airbnb, Realtor.com, Redfin, or Vrbo), you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with that platform's terms of service. Roomloops does not endorse or represent that use of those platforms' content through our Service is authorized by those platforms.

5. AI-generated output

You are responsible for reviewing every video generated by the Service before publishing, sharing, or otherwise distributing it. AI models can make mistakes — misidentifying rooms, choosing unflattering framings, or producing artifacts. Do not rely on AI-generated output for any purpose that could mislead a buyer, tenant, or the public.

6. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund, removal of content, and where appropriate, cooperation with law-enforcement authorities. We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations.
